Team Harlem United

Everyday here at Harlem United we, as an organization and as individuals, reflect on how to simultaneously prevent more people from becoming infected with HIV and meet the needs of people living with HIV/AIDS.

Located in the heart of Harlem and minutes away from its most iconic landmark, the Apollo Theater, Harlem United has formed “Team Harlem United” to help address these concerns. The funds raised will support our work as a leading AIDS Service Organization in New York City, providing access to quality healthcare, HIV prevention, housing and care services to Harlem’s diverse community.

Made up of staff, friends and dedicated individuals from the community, Team Harlem United commits to Harlem United’s goal to provide education, prevention of HIV/AIDS and comprehensive support services for individuals affected by the disease.

Joining Team Harlem United

Team Harlem United is looking for members committed to the HIV/AIDS community in Harlem and trying to achieve the dream of crossing the finishing line in one of the greatest races in the world. All of the runners pledge to donate or raise funds for Harlem United and the community it serves. By running in the marathon, every step you take throughout the five boroughs will help us make a difference in New York City. Join us if you’d like to run with a purpose.
