Dear Family & Friends,
Last March I ran 26.2 miles to prove to myself that I can commit to the mental toughness it takes to run a full marathon. This Spring, I will be running the New York City Half Marathon on Behalf of Team Harlem United-- with a more competitive edge and to support Harlem United as a community resource; a resource that is important to those living with HIV/AIDS daily.
I am excited to be running one of the greatest races in the world, but even more proud that I will be able to make a difference in the lives of the population served by Harlem United. As a member of Team Harlem United, I’ve committed to raising $1,200 and am asking for your support.
The funds raised will support Harlem United’s work as a leading AIDS Service Organization in New York City, providing access to quality healthcare, HIV prevention, and housing and care services to Harlem’s diverse community.
