Dear friends and family,
On March 20, I will run in the New York City Half Marathon.
I run
--because we have come far but can still do so much better for our sisters and brothers who live with poverty, HIV, and AIDS (some of you will remember my AIDS fundraising and first 'marathon' bike ride from Minneapolis to Chicago back in 1998)
--in thankful celebration of a healthy milestone (it's the big 3-5 for me on March 21!)
--dedicated to the amazing city that I have quickly grown to love and to the well-being of all of my new neighbors here.
All money I raise will go to Harlem United Community AIDS Center. Harlem United provides access to quality healthcare, HIV prevention, and housing and care services. I have committed to raising $1000, and can only get there with your help. Please join me!
