Please join us in supporting Harlem United in their efforts to improve the lives of those living with HIV/AIDS. We will be running the New York City 1/2 Marathon on March 18, 2012 to raise money to support this important organization.
Harlem United is a community-based organization providing a unique continuum of care. They integrate socially and economically disenfranchised people into a healthy and healing community. They offer clients access to a full range of medical, social, and supportive services.
Harlem United's "one-stop shop" for services allows them to treat the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—in a compassionate and supportive environment. They work in partnership with their clients at each stage of care: HIV testing; treatment and education; primary medical care; substance use counseling; mental health services; pastoral counseling; and an array of expressive therapies.
Harlem United does great work so please dig deep in those pockets and help to improve the lives of those living with HIV/AIDS.
