Benefits Specialist, Prevention

The Benefits Specialist is responsible to screen and enroll individuals for healthcare coverage, including specific coverage for biomedical prevention options, including nPEP and PrEP, and for HIV treatment, including ADAP. The Benefits Specialist will screen individuals referred by navigation staff and will assist clients with enrollment into insurance (Medicaid, ACA insurance) or uninsured care programs (PrEP-AP, ADAP) and will make appropriate referrals, when necessary, to internal/external supportive services programs for linkage to care. Education and Certification: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred, High School diploma or GED program required. Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred.
