Bi-lingual CASAC, Willis Green

Under the supervision of the Managing Clinical Director, and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the CASAC works in collaboration with the Social Work staff to provide services to clients with intense Substance Use needs. Services include HIV education, initial substance use assessments for all admitted clients, and entitlement advocacy services to clients of the Adult Day Health Care Program. The CASAC will also facilitate weekly Substance Use groups. This position functions in a primarily electronic environment and requires proficiency in ‘Windows” based technology. Must have CASAC certification. Education and Certificate:  Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field preferred. CASAC or CASAC-T certification required. Candidates with experience in providing substance use services to persons with HIV/AIDS in a health care setting are preferred.
