Director of Individual Giving and Events

The Director of Individual Giving and Events, reporting to the Associate Vice President of Strategic Advancement, will play a leadership role in raising financial support from individual donors and corporate sponsors through the identification and securing of gifts and corporate partnerships. Additionally, they will increase donor awareness and engagement through the implementation of several small annual events to build our donor networks. With the support of senior staff, they will develop and sustain a pipeline of regular donors, creating major gifts and annual giving programs. The Director of Individual Giving and Events will have responsibility for managing the day-to-day operations of individual giving, such as prospect management, gift processing and stewardship. Education and Certification: A Bachelor’s degree is required (English, Communications, Journalism, Social Work); A Master’s in a related field is preferred (i.e., public health, sociology, public administration, communication, journalism); Successful work-experience may substitute formal education requirements;3-5 years of fundraising experience preferred.
