For more than 30 years, Harlem United has provided access to high-quality healthcare, housing, harm reduction, and supportive services for all. We were a small group, battling the immensity of the first wave of the AIDS epidemic when we started out in a church basement in 1988. Rooted deep in the community with a staff that recognizes and reflects the cultures and experiences of the people we serve, Harlem United flourished into a social services agency that delivers a diverse set of critical services to people in need: touching 10,000 lives every year through primary and specialty medical care; supportive housing; harm reduction and testing services; and other assistance, such as care coordination, food and nutrition and much more.
This work depends on the generosity and donations of our community in Harlem and beyond. If you’re ready to invest further in Harlem United to make a change in a more meaningful way, speak to our Director of Individual Giving about a donation today.
