Manager of Mobile Medical Services

The Manager of Mobile Medical Services reporting to the Director of Medical Affairs  will oversee Mobile Medical Unit daily clinical operations,  regulatory compliance and direct all Mobile Medical Health initiatives. Our Medical Mobile Unit is intended to target hard to reach populations at high risk for Medical complications. Among the populations are substance users, and particularly injection drug users. Given the density of Federally Qualified health Centers (FQHCs) in NYC, we often find that our mobile units are serving communities that have access to our own brick and mortar clinics or other clinics which are often walking distance from where our mobile units park.  However, in remote neighborhoods with poor or inadequate services and high rates of substance use, our mobile medical unit has been able to provide quality care for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), and for chronic infections including Hepatitis C and HIV. Education and Certificate:  Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant Program. Licensed and Registered in New York State. Certified by NCCPA. Minimum of 2 years of practice as a Physician Assistant. BLS Certified. Achieves and maintains HIV specialist status Accumulate a minimum of 15 HIV specific CME credits throughout the year and a total of 25 Credits total per year.
