Part-Time Janitor, Property Management

The Part-time Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the designated building, empty trash receptacles, replace lining of trash cans and ensure the safety of clients and staff. The Part-Time Janitor is also responsible for monitoring building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created, sterilize patients’ rooms, recycle all garbage on sites that require recycling, fix minor plumbing leaks, plaster repairs, change ceiling tiles, repair minor electrical outlets- light fixtures. Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather. There is frequent need to stand, bend, walking, lifting heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and performing other similar actions during the course of the workday. Education and Certification:  High school diploma or G.E.D required or 3-5 years of experience. Trade school certification or other technical related courses are a plus.
