Recreation Specialist,  ADHC

The Recreation Assistant works with clients to make available a planned program of diverse meaningful activities to meet individual and group needs and interests. The activities include involvement of community, interpersonal, and self-care functions that are appropriate and sufficient in scope to meet the needs of clients to sustain physical and psychological function.

Education and Certification: Bachelor’s Degree in recreation or a related field from an accredited College or University preferred.  Additionally, three (3) years experience working in a mental health setting and/or work with HIV population a plus.
