Pediatrician, Health Services

The Pediatrician will also provide services focused on adolescents at particular risk, with a focus on the LGBTQ adolescent community of color in the Greater New York area. Other responsibilities include helping to build relationship with schools and organizations in the community to improve referral to Harlem United.

The American Board of Pediatrics standards and US Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) are utilized as resources and guides for accepted standards of care.Education and Certification: Board certified Pediatrician. Graduate of an Accredited Medical Program. Licensed and Registered in New York State as a Pediatrician. BLS Certified.Ability to communicate and interact with others in a professional and courteous manner. Well organized paying attention to details. Superior written and verbal communication skills and ability to write simple correspondence Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Proficiency with technology, especially computers, software, eClinicalworks, phone systems, etc.Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish or English/French).Desire and ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to the delivery of high quality care.
