Peer Trainer Supervisor, Testing Services

The Peer Trainer Supervisor is responsible for the successful implementation of the Peer Educator Training program. The training is catered to our HIV-positive men and women and high risk negative population, two cycles per year are conducted solely for women, and the third cycle is for all clients.  The Peer Trainer supervisor will coordinate weekly individual supervision of peer trainee to address personal risk reduction plans and conduct monthly booster training that addresses core-training topics. Under the coordination of the Program Coordinator of Women Services, the Peer Trainer Supervisor is responsible for successful implementation of trainee schedules that include street & community outreach services, health presentations and other health communication/public information activities aimed at community awareness and recruitment into HIV/STI/HCV testing services.  He/she is responsible for maintaining working linkages with community partners to ensure consistent flow of participants into our peer-training cycles. Education and Certification:    A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required with1-year experience working in HIV prevention programming, training and or HIV/HCV/STI testing experience. Solid professional experience of over five-years may substitute for degree.
