Physician Assistant, Health Services

The Physician Assistant assists with leading the care team and provides guidance to all team members. The Physician Assistant is expected to help lead the care team with a commitment to ensuring each team works to the top of his or her license consistently adheres with all protocols. It is expected that the Physician Assistant will delegate visits that do not require a physician or Physician Assistant to the RN allowing the Physician Assistant to dedicate more time to those patients that need to be seen with the scope of practice for the Physician Assistant. Physician Assistant’s are also expected to ensure that each patient has an individualized care plan with oversight by the PCP and that can be used by each care team member to help facilitate and guide care. Physician Assistant are also responsible to provide excellent customer service at all times. Education and Certification: Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant Program Licensed and Registered in New York State Certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
