Program Assistant, Housing-HUD

The Program Assistant is primarily a support position to the Scattered Site and Congregate HUD Housing Programs.  The candidate must be able to work in a “live” environment which calls for not only a quick response time but also attention to detail. In addition, the candidate will work between two site, Foundation House East and Foundation House West. The successful candidate would be able discern issues that must be prioritized and be able to communicate the proper level of urgency to various team leaders. He/she must be able to work effectively independently with little direction as well as work within a team environment. The ideal candidate will be organized; detail orientated; and have the ability to interact effectively and positively with both the staff and program members of the organization. The candidate should possess excellent written, oral communication skills, time management and ability to work as a part of a team.
