Systems Administrator, IT/MIS

Harlem United IT department is in search of hiring an experienced systems administrator able to join our team to provide day to day administration of complex multi-site IT infrastructure of the agency. The individual is responsible to maintain Active Directory systems administration as well as network, windows servers 2012/2016 and desktop support in virtual hyper converge cluster environment. System Administrator will also work as a technical team lead during new IT infrastructure implementation or upgrade of existing systems that includes VDI deployment agency wide; upgrade legacy systems/servers, migration of Microsoft exchange 2016 to Office 365, implementation of secured Wi-Fi agency wide. The system administrator will work closely with head of IT & the support technicians to help perform the necessary ticket monitoring, troubleshooting, ticket completion and customer satisfaction. He (She) will provide Tier-3 support for helpdesk related problems and work with external IT vendor as needed. This individual also participates in the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system access and provisioning is consistent with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Education and Certification: 3-5 years of related server and network experience in a multi-site environment. Experience installation, implementing, and administration of Microsoft Exchange 2016/Office 365. Experience installation, implementing, and administration of Windows server 2008/2012/2016. Thorough understanding in networking, firewall, TCP/IP, routing, and DNS. Working knowledge/understanding of VMware ESXi, Horizon View. VMware vcenter, VDI. Understanding of MySQL/MS SQL database/applications. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws in HealthCare environment. Highly adept at problem-solving. Excellent oral and written English language skills. Works well under pressure.
