Harlem United Mourns the Loss of Greg Malave

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Greg Malave, Harlem United’s Director of Business Development.

Greg has been a treasured leader at Harlem United for almost a decade. He truly embodied Harlem United’s mission and lived it for our clients every single day. He was a dedicated and effective leader  who was beloved by his team, his colleagues, our community partners, and the many Harlem United clients whose lives he impacted. He made everyone feel like somebody.

Greg brought life to any room he walked into. He lit it up with his love, care, compassion, and most of all with his smile. He worked tirelessly to find solutions when faced with challenges. He was resilient, tenacious, and strong. He made us feel confident that everything would be okay.

Our thoughts are with Greg’s family, who were the center of this whole world. We know that he will be missed by so, so many.

Family and friends will remember and celebrate Greg on Sunday November 6th during a service at Balsamo Funeral Home. Anyone who would like to attend the service or send a message of tribute to the funeral home is invited to do so. Please see the details below:
