Harlem United has joined dozens of other organizations and individuals to oppose Mayor Eric Adams’ plans to increase the involuntary hospitalization of New Yorkers with disabilities—most of whom are Black and brown people with disabilities, many of whom may be homeless or experiencing housing instability.
