The Harlem 1 Miler is Back
The Harlem 1 Miler returns this year with a new venue, but the same community and competition.
The 5th Annual Harlem 1 Miler, co-hosted by Harlem Run and Harlem United, is a friendly competition that brings the community together for a morning of fitness, family, and fun. All ages and fitness levels are invited to join us.
This year, the race will be in East Harlem at Randall's Island Park and, as always, it will take place on Father's Day, Sunday, June 16. Enjoy the views of the bustling city, as we escape to our very own island oasis. Heats will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will run every 30 minutes.

AIDSWatch is the largest annual constituent-based national HIV/AIDS advocacy event in the nation. AIDSWatch provides the space for people living with HIV and their allies to meet with members of Congress and to educate them about the important issues at stake for people living with HIV in the United States.

New Services Available at The Nest
For over 30 years, Harlem United has provided comprehensive, client-centered care to the community. This year, we are able to expand the scope of our care to include cardiology and podiatry services.
Before our partnership with Gramercy Cardiac Diagnostic Services, heart doctor referrals for our patients took anywhere from 3-6 months. Now we are able to offer on-site cardiology services. Every Wednesday from 9 AM to 1 PM, a specialist will be at The Nest working together with your primary doctor to diagnose and treat the full spectrum of heart needs.
