Today we celebrate Janice a Harlem United volunteer who was named Spectrum News NY1 New Yorker of the Week!
A long-time volunteer in NYC and beyond, Janice has been part of the Integrated Harm Reduction crew for close to one year. Together Janice is one of our superstars creating a welcoming and safe shower service that enables our community access to basic human care that everyone deserves.
An average of 25 people stop in for a shower each day the program operates. That’s about 5,000 showers a year!
